What is Artificial Intelligence?<\/h2>\n

Artificial Intelligence consists of two words: artificial and intelligence. Let’s start with intelligence<\/strong>. A term that I prefer instead of artificial intelligence is machine intelligence<\/strong>. A machine is a device designed to accelerate a process. So, machine intelligence is a device that will allow us to expedite the process of sensing information, abstracting it into knowledge, and acting better every day.<\/p>\n

What does AI mean for your business?<\/h2>\n

AI can transform your business<\/a> by enhancing the three parts of intelligence: sensing, abstracting, and acting.<\/p>\n

Sensing<\/strong> means capturing feedback from your customers and the market. You are constantly capturing data, sensing as much data as possible. This data is used to get feedback about how well you are performing in the world.<\/p>\n

Abstracting<\/strong> information means eliminating the noise, extracting the knowledge from the data, and discarding what is not useful. You can use this knowledge the next time you face the same situation, making better decisions based on the insights you’ve gained.<\/p>\n

Adaptive<\/strong> behaviors that improve over time mean that every time a situation arises, you react better based on the knowledge you’ve gained rather than your biased perception of your business.<\/p>\n
